Please find here first version of PlexMediaPlayer 2 (2.9.0)
This version FOR ALL USERS
REMEMBER ... only Windows and Mac version, officially exist ... NO Linux, NO embedded versions exist so be patient and keep cool ...

... QPKG change :
... ... change mpv folder by mpv2 to avoid conflict if pmp1 is always installed
... ... so to use mpv alone it's now, in HD_Station, /opt/mpv2/bin/mpv in place of /opt/mpv/bin/mpv previously
Plex Media Player v2.9.0 is now available to all macOS and Windows users.
Desktop web-client updated to 3.47.1
Added automatic fallback to transcode if direct playing music fails
Updated translations
Fixed an issue that prevented toggling between timed and untimed lyrics
Fixed library lists sometimes not scrolling to the end correctly
Fixed the dashboard type list sometimes not scrolling to the end correctly
Don't show the library list if there are no libraries available
Fixed a rare bug that could cause pointer-only UI elements to appear while not controlling the app with a pointer
Fixed an issue with news tags sometimes appearing offscreen
Fixed an issue where going to an empty recording schedule page would make the application unresponsive to input
Fixed UI sounds
---------- add TMP and TEMP variables (set to /tmp) to avoid problem with attach in QNAP that don't refresh environment variables (when using Entware for ex.)
... code is exactly the same as 2.7.0 (it's the Plex official 2.7.0 as previous version) for PMP part
... update mpv libraries to 1.100 (previous 2.7.0 use 1.29 (No idea why a so large step ???) ... perhaps solve some problems
... add (for AMD series) the missing (by QNAP) libvdpau_va_gl.so library (can be used by PMP2 or by any player by settings the correct VDPAU_DRIVER environment variable .
... change :
... ... correct run_pmp2.sh (to start pmp2 in a terminal (after enter in HD_Station)) to have also standard output with the log ...
... ... change include and library to be exactly compliant (if QNAP respect source for versioning) with libva (video acceleration) use by HD_Station
... ... ... QNAP use an advanced version 0.40 normally NOT delivered with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (only with 16.04 and +) ... LTS (so mine) use before .39.04
... ... ... Perhaps some difference (positive) can exist for specific codec (even ascending compatibility is assumed)
... ... all my tests files (from Kodi Wiki Tests Files works as expected (with or without Video Acceleration))
... ... REMEMBER ONLY exact codec (name & fourcc) can use video acceleration ... so use vainfo or vdpauinfo (I can provide a binary) in HD_Station to get the exact codec and profiles available
... ... ... don't dream it's not because all people said it's same ... even name is different ... that it can be used ONLY matching codec name is used ...
... see

... QPKG change install temporary folder to avoid space issue in /mnt/HDA_ROOT
... mpv updated to 1.28 (350 commits + fix for CVE-2018-6360 )
... pmp2

Conan problem solved by Plex team
... ... 2.4.1 : 2018-02-08
... ... Plex Media Player v2.4.1 is now available to all macOS and Windows (and Linux) users.
=== THANKS to johnskopis (Github Plex user) for workaround (Plex can't be generated due to conan fault ... BUT ...)

... unknown change for the moment

PlexMediaPlayer preview : https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/28096 ... -0-preview
New interface BUT for QNAP user, please use a keybaord (or configure as before IR remote (and test)
because ARROW are very important for the new GUI ( up to see list of server per type of media), left and rigth for moving in menu) ... mouse can also be used but more limted (so combine the two is the best solution)
